Kurinjal Peak Trek

Itinerary:



DAY 0: 


  • Depart from Bengaluru by 10PM. 

  • Overnight journey along with music and cool breeze.


DAY 1: 


  • Reach the homestay and freshen up. 

  • Head towards Kurinjal peak trek starting. 

  • Begin the climb to Kurinjal peak, a 12 KM out and back exciting trek. 

  • You will pass through dense forests, open grasslands, and rocky patches along the way. 

  • Reach stops on the trail for a lunch break and have the packed lunch. 

  • Reach the top and spend some time soaking in the calmness and beauty. 

  • Start to descend towards the starting point. 

  • Get back to homestay and have tea snacks. 

  • If the weather permits, enjoy a good bonfire. Have a great time full of humour, stories and music under a clear night sky. It’s the best way to retire a day full of adventure and companionship. 

  • Dinner at homestay and retire to bed.


Day 2:


  • Wake-up early morning and freshen up. 

  • Break fast at homestay. 

  • Checkout from homestay towards a refreshing day. 

  • Head towards Soormane waterfalls. 

  • Have a dip in the waterfalls and relax. 

  • Lunch stop (self-sponsored). 

  • Head towards Samse tea estate. 

  • Head towards Beluru and Halebeedu which are UNESCO World heritage sites. 

  • Dinner stop (self-sponsored). 

  • Return back to Bengaluru with pocketful memories.

  • Accommodation in homestay on multiple sharing basis ( separate for men and women.) 

  • 2 Breakfast, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner, Tea and snacks. 

  • To and fro transportation from Bengaluru. 

  • Entry tickets. 

  • Jeep ride to Bandaje trek starting point

  • Any meals not included.

  • Any kind of personal expenses. 

  • Any kind of insurance ( health, medical, life accidental etc )

Pick up and Drop off Points:


Silk Board - 8:00 PM 

Majestic metro station - 9:00 PM 

Goraguntepalya - 9:30 PM 

Nagasandra toll - 10:00 PM

Things to Carry:



  • Soft copy of your Aadhar/Voter ID ( Mandatorily required for permits) 

  • Small backpack to carry your essentials during the trek. 

  • Water bottles - 2 ( 1L each ) 

  • Lunch box and spoon to carry your packed lunch. 

  • Rain coat / Bag covers in case of rains. 

  • A comfortable pair of shoes with good grip for trekking. 

  • Flip flops for lazing around the campsite. 

  • Torch / Head lamp to be used at night. 

  • Power bank. 

  • Extra pair of clothes to change into once wet. 

  • Polybags to pack your wet clothes. 

  • Extra cash for meals not included in the itinerar. 

  • Shampoo / dettol antiseptic liquid / Sneezing ( Nashe ) powder to stay safe from leeches. 

  • Personal medical kit. 

  • Speaker.
